The Saffron & Sage pharmacy is fully stocked with a variety of herbs, flower essences and blended teas to support the health and wellbeing of our community.

Both our herbal formulas (made with Traditional Chinese herbs) and herbal teas (made with Western herbs) support our “food first philosophy,” the notion that nutrition is our foundation and medicine derived from herbs is essential to health and healing.

HERBAL FORMULAS:

Herbal formulas nourish and protect the organs while enhancing their function and performance. They are made of granular herbs or herbal extract powders which are finely ground and dissolve in water. The granules are blended together to enhance the potency of each herb and their synergistic properties.

Our plant based prescriptions are Chinese herbs bio individualistically designed by our Clinical Herbalists. Custom formulas can be prescribed through a Botanical Medicine appointment (offered in person OR virtually) or an Acupuncture session. Herbal Consultations are included in our Holistic Healthcare Plan.

Our herbal formulas come in 1-week, 2-week or 1-month supply.

CURATED TEAS:

Our curated collection of herbal teas have been uniquely blended to support the rhythms of the month and year. We offer 4 seasonal teas as well as New and Full moon teas that directly relate to the changes in a woman's cycle. All teas are organically or biodynamically grown.

These cycles are based upon the earth's relationship to the sun and moon. The sun represents the masculine and the moon represents the feminine.

The sun and moon align with earth. As the moon pulls the tides in the oceans, it also pulls upon the subtle bodies of water, causing moisture to rise in the surface, which encourages germination and growth, fertility and fullness.

Flower essences transmit essential vibration and wisdom of the flowers. They are premier medicinals for the soul and emotions. Gentle yet powerful plant allies for every stage of healing. Our flower essences are formulated for specific emotional imbalances to calm the mind and soothe the spirit.

Flower essences are vibrational imprints of the flower from a variety of plants that have been extracted and diluted in a unique blend of water and alcohol. Each flower essence is selected to create a custom formula that will support that patient in their current emotional state.
Our flower essences come in a month supply and are refilled monthly based upon the changes that occur in the emotional body and the patients current needs.
