IN PREPARATION FOR YOUR INTEGRATIVE PHYSICAL
At Saffron and Sage, we firmly believe in a holistic approach to health that encompasses the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Our comprehensive integrative physical exam goes beyond the basics, offering a deeper understanding of your overall well-being.
The Benefits of the Saffron Method
The Saffron Method focuses on mind, body, and spirit interconnectedness. By assessing each of these areas, we can provide a holistic view of your health:
Mind: We offer mental health support through psychiatric evaluations and cognitive function assessments.
Body: Our comprehensive physical assessments and personalized recommendations help optimize your physical health.
Spirit: We emphasize holistic well-being, incorporating mindfulness and emotional balance into our approach.
COLLABORATIVE CARE MODEL
Our evaluation and assessment process combines Western and Eastern approaches to provide a comprehensive understanding of each individual's health. Our assessment team includes Holistic Health Care providers with doctorate-level education in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Naturopathic Medicine. The team integrates conventional medical knowledge with traditional Eastern practices. Western evaluation methods involve thorough physical examinations, laboratory tests, and diagnostic screenings to identify potential health issues. In contrast, Eastern assessment techniques focus on subtle energy imbalances, pulse diagnosis, tongue examination, and detailed questioning about lifestyle and emotional well-being. By combining these approaches, we aim to offer a holistic understanding of our patient's health and tailor treatment plans that address their unique needs from both perspectives.
Our integrative physical examination is complemented by advanced diagnostic testing. Following your examination, your in-house blood draw will be promptly scheduled and completed within one week, if not sooner.
Complementing the integrative physical examination with advanced laboratory testing, such as the Saffron Panel, Micronutrient Panel, and Comprehensive Stool Analysis, is clinically crucial for several reasons. These specialized tests provide in-depth insights into various aspects of health, including nutrient deficiencies, gut health, and overall metabolic function. By analyzing comprehensive data from these panels in conjunction with the physical examination findings, healthcare providers can gain a holistic understanding of the patient's health status. This approach enables personalized treatment plans tailored to address specific imbalances, optimize nutritional intake, and support overall well-being. Additionally, the combination of physical examination and advanced testing allows for early detection of potential health issues, facilitating proactive interventions and preventive strategies to promote long-term health and vitality.
Working with our holistic primary care provider in conjunction with your conventional primary care physician offers a multitude of benefits tailored to your well-being. At Saffron and Sage, this collaborative approach ensures that every aspect of your health receives comprehensive attention. While your conventional primary care provider focuses on diagnosing and treating acute conditions, your holistic primary care provider delves deeper into preventive care, addressing root causes, and promoting overall wellness. Together, they create a synergy that optimizes your health journey, integrating conventional medicine with holistic practices such as nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and alternative therapies. This partnership empowers you to take charge of your health proactively, with personalized care plans designed to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. With the support of both providers, you embark on a holistic path towards vibrant health and vitality.
