Yarrow Mouth Rinse

As promised, when I run out of an essential, I’m replacing it with a Less Waste Product (when possible). As kismet as it could be, the very next essential to go was mouthwash.

Therefore I picked up some dried yarrow and made a light infusion out of it to create my mouthwash. I love this herb and always have. Especially topically for skin! But what a perfect herb to use as a mouth rinse for its wound healing, pain relieving, and its massive bacteria killing properties.

YARROW MOUTHWASH

2 c Mason Jar (or jar of choice)

2 Tbl Dried Yarrow

2 C water

PROCESS | Place herbs in jar. Bring water to a boil and then pour it over the herbs. Cap the jar and let it steep for four hours. Strain and enjoy as a mouth rinse!
