In Traditional Chinese Medicine, vaccines are seen as an addition of heat to the system. When this happens, it is important to prepare the body and immune system prior and drain the heat afterwards.

Prior to the vaccine we recommend receiving a combination treatment of Moxibustion (a warming therapy) and Acupuncture 1 - 2 days before your shot (the closer to your appointment the better).

Post vaccine, a combination of Firecupping & Acupuncture will help rebalance the body and clear heat. Ideally this treatment would occur the day of or day after you receive the vaccine.
