STEPHANIE

Stephanie is a degreed nutritionist and holistic health coach having earned a Bachelors of Science in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University and a Masters of Science in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Integrative Wellness from Point Loma Nazarene University. She has notable experience as a clinical health coach with UC San Diego’s Center of Integrative Health and a strong dietetic background working with a women’s health registered dietitian and oncology dietitian at Stanford’s Cancer Center.

Presently, she is preparing to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) come Spring of 2024. In addition to her current credentials, she is further expanding her learnings by studying to become a lactation education counselor (LEC) and is actively completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training program to become a registered yoga teacher (RYT) to complement her existing nutrition and coaching certifications.

It is her goal to intersect these various aspects of wellness into a cohesive practice that best serves the whole-person – mind, body, and spirit. Stephanie works collaboratively amongst Saffron & Sage’s integrative care providers to provide a holistic, bio-individualistic approach while prioritizing evidence-based research. She acts as a health educator and a client liaison, supporting clients as they journey through The Saffron Method.

Stephanie considers herself to be a forever student and is committed to lifelong learning and growth alongside the Saffron & Sage community. In her leisure, Stephanie enjoys spending her time along the coast, practicing yoga, cooking, connecting with friends, and spending time with her beloved partner and dogs.
