Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a structured, short-term form of psychotherapy designed to help children, adolescents, and their caregivers cope with the emotional and behavioral effects of trauma. It was originally developed for youth who experienced abuse, violence, grief, accidents, disasters, or other traumatic events, but it is also used more broadly for trauma-related difficulties.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented form of psychotherapy that helps people identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking, emotions, and behavior. It is based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and that changing negative thinking and behavior patterns can improve emotional well-being.

Seeking Safety is a structured, present-focused counseling approach that emphasizes establishing safety in relationships, thinking, behavior, and emotions, building coping skills without requiring clients to relive traumatic memories, addressing trauma and substance use simultaneously, and supporting empowerment, grounding, and healthy decision-making

+ Positive Parenting Program Interventions

* 60-minutes = 2 medical credits

* 120-minutes = 4 medical credits

Positive Parenting Program interventions refer to therapeutic and educational strategies used within the Positive Parenting Program, commonly known as Triple P, to improve parenting skills, strengthen parent-child relationships, and reduce behavioral and emotional problems in children and adolescents.

Psychotherapy, often called talk therapy or counseling, is a professional treatment approach in which a trained mental health provider helps individuals address emotional, behavioral, psychological, or interpersonal difficulties through structured therapeutic conversations and evidence-based interventions.
